Test (BSET) for assessing the validity of surrogate markers in
clinical trials. Provides hypothesis testing tools to evaluate
whether a surrogate can reliably estimate the causal effect of
a treatment on a primary outcome. Implements the
imputation-based Bayesian methodology of Carlotti and Parast
(2026) &lt;doi:10.48550/arXiv.2603.14381&gt;, extending the
frequentist rank-based approach of Parast et al. (2024)
&lt;doi:10.1093/biomtc/ujad035&gt;. Addresses key limitations of the
frequentist method, including the lack of causal
interpretability and the inability to adjust for covariates in
the estimation process.</description><link>https://github.com/r-universe/pietrocarlotti/actions/runs/29681294452</link><pubDate>Fri, 19 Jun 2026 23:05:17 GMT</pubDate><r:package>BSET</r:package><r:version>1.0</r:version><r:status>success</r:status><r:repository>https://pietrocarlotti.r-universe.dev</r:repository><r:upstream>https://github.com/pietrocarlotti/bset</r:upstream><r:article><r:source>BSET_tutorial.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>BSET_tutorial.html</r:filename><r:title>BSET Tutorial</r:title><r:created>2026-04-09 15:09:37</r:created><r:modified>2026-05-04 19:46:52</r:modified></r:article></item></channel></rss>
